This site is specially for Dawoodi Bohra Community, the followers of the 52nd Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS). This site represents a khidmat intended to provide authentic information about the beliefs, history, traditions and culture of the Dawoodi Bohras as propagated and preserved by the Duat Mutlaqeen (AQ). We welcome you to this site and hope that it serves you well.
The Beginning:
ABurhani.com, originally known as “Akhbar-E-Burhani.com” and later by the Raza and Dua Mubarak of Huzurala TUS domain name was changed to ABurhani.com.
The Next Generation:
To offer better and more useful services to mumineen, an international team of about 20+ volunteers came together to form the next generation of ABurhani.com project. Hardware and ISP services were purchased with a generous grant from Dawat-e-Hadiyah with sponsorship of Shahzada Aliwaqar Idris Bhaisaheb Badruddin DM. The ABurhani team then addressed the technical and social task of organizing what resources were to be offered to mumineen,and what format and regulations those resources should abide by. The work done set the tone and mode of operations for the way internet could usefully be used by the Dawoodi Bohra community.
The ABurhani team has grown, with some members being there since its inception and new members joining it all the time. Some as associates and others as fulltime. ABurhani.com now has members from KUWAIT, UAE, INDIA, PAKISTAN, TANZANIA. Each khidmatguzar brings his or her own expertise to the team and makes their contribution based on availability and time.
